VARIS shares that “IN TIME” is one of the few songs he began by writing the lyrics first before working on the instrumentation and melody. The song reflects the emotional arc of moving on from a breakup, diving into moments of darkness and hesitation to love again. Yet, it also shines as a beacon of hope, a gentle reminder to “just let time pass,” because in time, even the deepest wounds will start to heal. The central line, “In time… I can fall in love again”, captures the song’s essence no matter how lost in the dark we feel, it doesn’t mean we won’t find our way back to the light, as long as we keep hope alive and allow time to heal for our hearts. For the first time, VARIS also took on the role of music video director.
